Engineering and analysis

SALTECH maintains a suite of computer software for analysis. These are normally used as part of the design process but can of course be used for various kinds of analyses of public interest.

Analyses in ship systems

SALTECH has the ability to offer analyses in ship structure, hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, lashing force calculations, HVAC, machinery and electricity, among other. SALTECH has for the past years conducted a couple of small to medium size (up to 8 manyears) conversion engineering projects for shipyards. The projects included full technical responsibility for the systems and detail engineering of all machinery systems related to a major conversion/life extension refit.

SALTECH may undertake engineering projects and deliver final production drawings using either 2D or 3D CAD. SALTECH is also able to include purchase of components, production assistance, test and verification management etc.
