SALTECH is engaged by a norwegian shipowner for support and drawing examination during design phase of merchant vessels ordered at different shipyards in China. Vessel types include bulk carriers, oil tankers, container vessels and LPG carriers in sizes from 30 000 to 300 000 DWT. SALTECH has staff on site during model tests etc.

SALTECH is engaged by SKB, The Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Co, for design and specification of a Nuclear Cargo Vessel for transportation of nuclear waste. The project also comprises technical management including design and drawing examination and approval. The vessel is built at Damen Shipyards in Gorinchem, Holland.

SALTECH was engaged by the Swedish Defence Material Administration as technical support, comprising requirement verification and building inspection for delivery of seal carriers.

Saltech was engaged by the Swedish Coast Guard as Project Manager and head of the Coast Guard team, for the newbuilding and delivery of four 52 meters multi purpose Coast Guard vessels. The vessels KBV 031 – KBV 034 were built at P+S Weften in Wolgast, Germany.

SALTECH is engaged by the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration for design of a retrofit for the minesweeper HMS Styrsö. The design work will result in a technical specification for procurement. New assignment will be torpedo salvage.

The Visby corvette project comprises one series of five flexible multirole surface combatants that feature superior performance regarding speed, stealth technology and armament. The Corvettes of sandwich construction, consisting of a PVC core and carbon fibre laminate, are built at KOCKUMS Sweden.

SALTECH engagement also includes investigations and technical support within most areas including machinery, equipment and hull. In particular SALTECH is engaged as technical advisors on systems for helicopter operations and HVAC.
